Ashton · Edition 07 · App Analytics

A ship is not a chart. It is a window that closes.

Most teams celebrate the store badge and then drown in the next sprint. Release Nodecore trains you to read the three days that actually decide whether the version earned its place.

From the journal

The unnamed screen is still the cheapest way to ruin a funnel. We published a short note on why product still ships them.

Three desks, none of them choir.

“The 72-hour window forced us to stop treating Friday night crashes as Monday’s problem. I still think week four assumes too much SQL.”

★★★★☆

We renamed ‘session_start’ out of the business dashboard. Quieter stand-ups. Fewer arguments about DAU.

Platform note · 4/5 · Release Pulse Atelier

Our grocery app mixed calendar months with a rolling 28. The ledger template made the mismatch visible in one export.

Release Pulse Atelier

Nine weeks on the grammar of a version bump: what to name, what to ignore, and how to present a drop without theatre. Informational fee from £1,240. No checkout on this site.

The method is deliberately narrow. We do not teach every analytics vendor. We teach a ledger you can keep when the vendor changes.

How the room works

Four habits we refuse to skip.

  1. Name the ship before you name the chart

Every version gets a one-line hypothesis. If you cannot write it, the dashboard will invent one for you.

  2. Keep the 72-hour window sacred

Crash-free, first-open, and the one funnel you claimed would move. After that, the noise of the next sprint arrives.

  3. Separate product events from platform noise

Session starts, OS upgrades, and store traffic spikes are not “engagement.” We train you to file them elsewhere.

  4. Write the Monday ledger in sentences

Numbers without a verb do not survive a sceptical PM. The atelier ends each week with a paragraph, not a screenshot.
